Data centre investment commitments reach $173 billion in India since 2021, says CBRE

India's data centre sector attracted $38 billion in investment commitments in H1 2026, taking cumulative commitments since 2021 to $173 billion. Developers and operators accounted for 57% of the total, while Andhra Pradesh emerged as the leading state for mapped data centre investments, according to CBRE.
